i've been out west to californ, but i miss the land where i was born...
I have never been so happy to say that I grew up in Massachusetts. The heartache, the swearing at the TV, it was all worth it. I can't even imagine what it's like for my grandfather. He was born in 1919. He's waited all his life for this.
I screamed my head off when we won. Then I started crying. Then I started laughing at myself for crying. Now I'm in this mode of numbness. It still hasn't sunk in. We won. About freakin' time.
I loved watching Pedro watch the game from the dugout. He was so happy and so into it.
I did not, however, like the bizarre shot of Jimmy Fallon making out with some chick on the field when the celebration began. it was just weird and gross, and not in a funny way like weird Burger King ad.
And I am totally in love with Theo Epstein.

wierdest about the jimmy fallon kiss-- it was kinda strange and extended and awkward. like... she was PAID to be there? was he trying to slip her the tongue? i miss ben assfleck.
Actually, Jimmy was paid to be there... And the chick may or may not have been Drew Barrymore...
i thought fallon was kissing drew barrymore? it was so lame. fox blows. i'm undecided on theo epstein - sometimes i think he's foxy and sometimes he's a bit too zach morris.
theo is the grown up zack morris, who really isn't that bad. i like that zack moved to new york and became a nyc detective. and jimmy fallon... there already has BEEN a fever pitch movie, i think, starring colin firth. on imdb: http://imdb.com/title/tt0119114/. jimmy fallon is stepping into some lame territory. that's what he gets for being the indie poster boy or whatever. that punkass.
