I study music, movies and TV for a living. People either think I have the coolest job in the world or that I'm a pathetic slacker contributing nothing of value to society. I've yet to decide which one is correct.
Ah, that familiar feeling of sports disappointment. I really don't want to call my parents this week. When Eli Manning threw that touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress, I'm pretty sure my dad had his third heart attack.
Waitasec. Now, I don't mean to rub salt in the wounds, but is it really that accurate, as a Patriots fan, to claim the familiar feeling of sports disappointment? Really? After the last few years? After an otherwise perfect season? That just seems like a wee bit of a stretch, m'dear. :) Jake says, "At least you're not a Cardinals fan." Admittedly, this was after I asked him who the losingest team was...
Actually yes, it is. Just because the Pats are the "Evil Empire" of football doesn't make the win any less heartbreaking. (Ask any Yankees fan about 2004.)
