Reading went very well. Ms. Holmquist read a piece about mice that rang very true. Mr. Gleason-Allured read a pair of surreal and affecting stories, including this one, and Mr. Lin read a series of poems and essays (including this one) which dryly referenced K-Mart realism, David Sedaris, and a very large moose. Turnout was great; the back room at Galapagos is, when it comes down to it, a pretty ideal venue for readings.
