on the night of the potomac primary, links that have nothing to do with politics

One: damn fine Valentine’s Day e-cards. (Via Warren Ellis.)

Two: Pitchfork has a news item up today about the Ringfinger disc, which is as good a time as any to throw in my two cents: namely, this is a fine album, and maybe my favorite thing Tracy Wilson has been involved with. (And given that her former band Dahlia Seed’s Survived By is a perennial favorite of mine…) It covers ground ranging from electronic pop to “Mining for Diamonds”, which feels like late-90s Elliott Smith while managing to sound very little like late-90s Elliott Smith.

Three: Interesting interview with Casanova’s Matt Fraction on io9.

Four: Damn good Jody Rosen essay on Amy Winehouse.
