Specifically: the esteemed Susannah Felts. At AWP, I picked up a copy of her upcoming This Will Go Down On Your Permanent Record, and am looking forward to reading it once I finish making my way through legnthy tomes on twentieth-century history.
(Odd digression: remember how in the film Twelve Monkeys, Bruce Willis’s character blurts out, “I love the music of the twentieth century!” and it sounded really weird? I suspect that that statement is now true for everyone who reads this blog.)
