Tobias Carroll lives in Brooklyn. He writes about music and books (and sometimes the places where they overlap). His fiction has appeared in Metazen, THE2NDHAND, Storychord, Word Riot, Joyland, and in the anthology Hair Lit. His nonfiction and criticism has been published by Yeti, the Los Angeles Review of Books, the Paris Review Daily, Flavorwire, and elsewhere. He is the managing editor of Vol.1 Brooklyn. He recently completed work on Reel, a short novel, and is now at work on a novel about hardcore, New Jersey, and ambiguous landscapes.
