My short story “A Record Called ‘American Woodworking’” is now up on 3:AM Magazine. In Birmingham, Dorman’s phone was screaming. In Queens, I’m conversing with Avery. He says, “Didn’t we visit the Jazz Age together?â€� I nod, his necessary affirmation. The title, for what it’s worth, is a reference to this band.
