Just read “Winter Montage, Hoboken Station” and thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the mood, the awkwardness of the meeting and the description of the Hoboken station that I recall so well. You’re the best, Toby.

ummmm, so I just stumbled across the Maxwells concert calendar. On December 28, 2011 their calendar reads: “My Favorite Citzen.” (note the spelling)

Does anyone here have any insight on this? Different band, or is it the band I know and love?

That’s great stuff. My 10 year bloggiversary will be Dec 12, 2011 which is kind of crazy to think about. I’ve actually really started missing long-form blogging lately although considering I don’t even have time to tweet I think it seems unlikely to pick up again any time soon.

But you’ve always had a wonderful way with words and (I happen to think) a good balance of the “digressions, oversharing & deep enthusiasm about books and music” so happy anniversary to ya!

Also, major points for mentioning Red Forty in your first post :)
